We don’t have many options on the waiver wire this week and we definitely don’t have players that could be league winners. One player that should be added in all leagues is Zach Charbonnet who could become no. 1 RB on a team that could score a bunch of points for the rest of the season. Will Levis is an interesting option in deep leagues and if you are in need of a QB.
NFL Waiver Wire – Week 9
Levis had an amazing 1st NFL start as he led the Titans to the victory against the Falcons in a very important game as they improved to 3-4 and now have a chance to make a playoff push and if they want to do that Levis will need to play good moving forward. Ryan Tannehill has an injured ankle and will miss a game against the Steelers in Week 9. Pittsburgh have a great defense and Levis will have a hard task in week 9 but if he leads the Titans to victory again he could likely become a starter moving forward. Tannehill has played poorly for the whole season and Levis just needs to be average for the Titans to give him a starting job moving forward. He is on the roster in a very low number of leagues so if you have problems at the QB position make sure to add Levis to your roster as he could become a strong option in 2nd part of the season and especially in fantasy playoffs as he faces the Dolphins, Texans twice and Seahawks between weeks 14 and 17.
Hubbard has become a clear no. 1 running back for the Panthers as Sanders had only 2 carries in Week 8 and looks to be out of a job as a team-leading back. The Panthers are one of the worst teams in the league and that isn’t a good sign for any player on the team but they don’t have a bye week for the rest of the season and will also face some bad defenses like Chicago and Green Bay. If your team is in need of a running back Hubbard is a good option as he is likely the only no. 1 RB on your waiver wire. Don’t expect him to become a top 10 option at the position but he can deliver top 25 numbers.
This a big week for all Charbonnet owners as he played more snaps than Kenneth Walker(31-24 in favor of Zach Charbonnet). He should be roster in most leagues as he will likely become a top-15 option at the RB position in the next few weeks as the Seahawks look to favor Zach Charbonnet moving forward.
Fournette should be roster just in case he becomes a factor in one of the best offenses in the league or even if James Cook misses some time with an injury Fournette will become a must-start option and things go right.
Shaheed is a similar player to Gabe Davis as neither of them is the team’s best option. He has a chance to breakout each week and is very volatile and he shouldn’t be started at this point in most leagues as there are plenty of good wide receivers this year but if you are in need of one add Shaheed and if Thomas or Olave go down he will become a top 30 fantasy option at the wide receiver position.
Kincaid has become Allen’s clear no. 2 option behind Stefon Diggs and Kincaid should be rostered in all fantasy formats moving forward as he has the potential to be a top 5 TE rest of the season.
